We are improving children’s critical thinking, problem solving, and creative skills. We have different science domains such as Physics, Astronomy, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, and Math. Teacher conduct interactive experiments and appealing demonstrations.
EFFECTIVE TRANSPORTATION
Redemption Gate School has a pretty wide coverage area in the Agege axis and students come from all over, hence the need for an effective transportation system for conveying students to and from school.
Our transportation system ensures that students access the school conveniently and without stress. Safety is key and our drivers and bus assistants know that much.
HOME EDUCATION
Home economics food laboratories teach students the value of nutritional choices, food and kitchen safety and how to cook foods. To effectively teach students, the home economics laboratory must be designed to provide students with practical cooking space, room to prepare foods and space to store utensils, such as pots and knives. Designing a home economics laboratory will take several attempts at configuring tools and equipment into an organized, functional layout that will have lasting value.
READING CULTURE
It is indisputable that a vast number of students have completely lost interest in reading, both in and out of higher institutions. To say that the reading competition and zeal among students is fast declining is simply stating the obvious.
Students are expected to read and keep abreast of what is happening around them, but that obviously does not happen anymore; no thanks to the advent of the social media. Many students now spend quality time surfing the internet on gossips and other immaterial issues. Different studies have revealed that 40 per cent of Nigerian adults never finish reading a fiction book from cover to cover after leaving school. And there are other studies which show that about 30 million Nigerians have graduated from secondary schools with poor reading skills, attributing it to the poor habit cultivated during their stay at school.
CLUBS & SOCIETIES
Students are also encouraged to join clubs and societies such as Jets Club, Egbe Akomolede Yoruba, Music, Literary/Debating/Drama, Press, Sport.
Sports days, sometimes referred to as field days, are events staged by many schools and offices in which students take part in competitive sporting activities, often with the aim of winning trophies or prizes. Students are encouraged to join one or more sports club in school.
